The majority of "those people" who are in jail, are in jail for nonviolent
drug crimes and/or because they can't afford bail. Your average mainstream libertarian would call both of those things massive problems, so I don't agree. Furthermore, libertarians have been beating the drums on police brutality, profiling (along with asset forfeiture and other less racially charged issues) long before it was en vogue for the left. All of these things disproportionately affect people of color.
So sure, some people use libertarianism to hide/twist their racism. Some people use patriotism to do the same thing. Some people use "equality" to hide black nationalism or similar. Those of us who live between the 20's in something resembling reality would do best to ignore all of them.
